Kid Are Growing Up: A Story About a Kid named LAROI
How Prime Video brought The Kid LAROI directly to fans around the world
The Challenge
Create a fan-centric experience
Create a fan-centric experience around the launch of Prime Video’s new The Kid LAROI documentary - Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About a Kid Named Laroi – bringing fans closer to the star than ever before with an interactive watch party hosted directly from Kid Laroi’s living room.
The solution
Flux & Amazon Unleash Live Film Magic!
Using our Flux technology we built a live premiere experience with interactive components that were integrated on the amazon.com “Explore” page, seamlessly blending entertainment, technology, and fan engagement.
The evening kicked off with a pre-show MTV-style music video mixtape, followed by a content-secure screening of the film. The screening included an integrated broadcast from The Kid LAROI’s living room in Los Angeles where the star, director Michael D. Ratner, and friends shared live commentary throughout the film. Following the documentary, the digital experience transformed into a live Q&A, bringing fans up close and personal with their favorite artist in real-time.
