An interactive experience for Fallout fans
In the wake of the most highly anticipated Video Game adaptation of 2024, Prime Video set out to create a special live watch party experience that would fully engage Fallout’s devoted worldwide fanbase – all without leaving the Amazon.com environment.
How We Did It
Integrating our Flux™️ event technology directly into Amazon.com allowed Prime Video to have total control over the fan experience. Using our creative and technology teams, we took the project from design, to social strategy, to content creation, to web development, attendee management, and broadcast - all in-house.
When Prime Video surprised fans with an announcement that the Fallout series would land 1 day early and invited fans to a surprise premiere, our integrated RSVP system captured first party data from over 62,000 people in just 36 hours.
The live watch party event was a hit. A quarter million people checked out the event, with peak concurrent viewers reaching over 122K. A live chat and custom 'choose your faction' avatar selection was available to Prime Video members. And at the conclusion of the event, guests were sent back to the Fallout series homepage with CTAs driving them to watch the full series.
